Kuroshio

A standout on Kuroshio’s lunch menu is its Dutch-style fried chicken breast. One diner ordered a flat piece of chicken served with onion sauce, and enjoyed changing the flavour by pouring the sauce over it. Another lunch guest chose the Dutch-style grilled chicken breast and was impressed by the variety and care evident in the side dishes.

Other set-meal mains include grilled mackerel, hamburger steak and teriyaki chicken. A diner who tried the grilled mackerel on one visit and the hamburger steak on another recalled that both meals came with a generous selection of sides. Small dishes served with the set meals have also been described as an assortment of modest portions, including vinegared, simmered and stir-fried dishes, adding a range of flavours alongside the main. One guest reported being able to choose white or brown rice, too.
